Preparations for “Noye’s Fludde” in full swing

The preparations for our performance of Benjamin Britten’s “Noye’s Fludde” in the Predigerkirche in Zürich are in full swing now. David is about half-way through the individual music group rehearsals, with the main work starting at the end of May. Seán will be playing and Áedán is helping the director. Jacqueline is doing her usual sterling job with the herding of something like 100 cats (also known as “administration”). The pictures show the various groups as they prepare. So far: handbells in Romanshorn, kiddy string-players in Rüti/ZH, adult soloists in Wiedikon, and child soloists and choir in Zürich. Coming up: recorders in Effretikon and percussion in Baar…
