David and Jacqueline visit Southern England

In just ten days, we saw many beautiful cathedrals and fantastic gardens, a Roman bath, towns and villages in many styles and from many epoques, several country houses and castles, moor land and New Forest, a golf course, lots of gulls, swans, geese and ducks, many dogs, some friendly cats, ponies and horses, “normal” and highlander cows, deer, a number of ferries, experienced food both pretty good and rather poor, visited old friends in Nomansland, had sun every day and rain only on one, saw two different weddings, held an impromtu birthday party, did exercises in the coach, and so on…

It was a great trip, with great tour guiding from Paul and safe driving from Paul. A few pictures to show the variety that England can offer…
