On the excuse of Áedán’s singing in a concert in the Herkulessaal in Munich, Jacqueline and david paid a fleeting visit to the metropole (and to the concert, of course). It was an extremely hot weekend, both in Zurich and Munich. In Munich, there was a running event going on as well, in sweltering heat! We kept out of the sun as much as possible. The concert was an unknown work by Albert Becker (an unknown composer!): his Great Mass in B minor. A very interesting work, very well performed by the ad hoc choir and orchestra organised by Conrad und Weißkopf.
